Dave Holman, MBA
Dave leads a team of experts in acquiring and managing residential and commercial properties that benefit residents, investors, and the planet.
Dave is a North Yarmouth, Maine native with a background rooted in sustainability, community, and real estate. He studied green building and environmental technology at Carleton College and went on to earn his MBA in Sustainable Business from UMaine. Early in his career, Dave led marketing and outreach for Safe Passage and served as Assistant Director of Annual Giving at Bowdoin College.
Since 2011, Dave has focused his career on real estate investment, building a portfolio of hundreds of units across 25+ buildings throughout Southern and Midcoast Maine. In 2019, he founded Katahdin Property Management to oversee the day-to-day operations and leasing of his growing portfolio. Holman co-developed The Sandpiper in Brunswick in 2024, a 65 unit green building that won awards and congressional citations. Dave is also an active commercial real estate broker who owns Holman Group Realty.
Jean Burr, PhD
Director of Investments
A native New Englander, Jean earned her undergraduate degree from Middlebury College and her M.A. and Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from the Institute of Child Development at the University of Minnesota. Jean served as a faculty member at Colby and Hamilton Colleges before pivoting to real estate. In her role as Holman Homes' Director of Investments, Jean focuses on investor relations, budgeting, and construction loan draws for nearly a dozen syndicated properties. Jean is also a director of Katahdin Property Management.
