Jean Burr, PhD
Director of Investments
Jean was born and raised in a small town in Connecticut before heading to Vermont to earn her undergraduate degree from Middlebury College. Jean’s fascination with children’s thoughts and behaviors led her to the Institute of Child Development at the University of Minnesota, where she earned her M.A. and Ph.D. in developmental psychology. Jean was a faculty member at Colby College and Hamilton College before stepping back from the grading and research projects to spend more time with her growing family. Jean currently lives in North Yarmouth with her husband, three sons, and a crazy yellow lab. She is a marathon runner and longtime friend of Dave’s from their Saturday morning running group.
